    the best tomato

    No one who knows heirloom vegetables will deny the beauty and variety of forms in which the tomato expresses itself. Any gardener who has ever had a good year for tomatoes will get misty when describing the feel of a prize fruit in the hand. Nutritionists will talk about lycopene and vitamins. But in the end, its the taste that matters most.
